Silicone Pan by kblogs
The world is always changing, and therefore the way we do things is always changing as well. That’s why the silicone pan has become so popular as of late. The silicone pan makes it easier to clean up and makes stickiness a non-issue. With aluminum pans we have a lot of cleanup to take care of and after those Cupcakes pop out of the over cleanup is the last thing on our minds. That’s what is making silicone bake-ware so in demand. Silicone pans are durable, they can go in the dishwasher, and they’re no fuss.
What’s even better is you can get silicone cookery in almost any color! And you can get silicone cake pans, silicone muffin pans, silicone mini muffin pans, and pretty much everything you can imagine! They cost the same as aluminum anyway.
To release the baked good from a silicone pan, you simply peel it away. No fuss, no hassle. The silicone pan won’t stick to your muffin the same way that aluminum will.
Silicone pans are affordable and they’re kid-friendly, too.
If you’re throwing a Halloween party go out and get yourself orange and black silicone pans in the shapes of pumpkins or ghosts. Or if it’s valentines day pick up some pretty pink silicone heart shaped pans. You can really do anything with them, plus they are nice to look at.
After you remove the goods from the silicone pan, you simply and easily peel off whatever has gotten stuck, and you rinse with water or throw it in your dishwasher. Viola! Your pan is good as new and you’re ready to use it again.
You can buy silicone pans from nearly any store you would normally buy regular pans from. Bed bath and beyond has a nice selection. As do large department stores such as Bloomingdale’s or Macy’s. If you can’t go out to get one, you could order your silicone pans off of the internet. Amazon.com has an excellent selection of Silicone-ware, and it allows you to compare prices and see different user reviews (though I have never come across a silicone pan I wasn’t completely satisfied with). Silicone pans are light and should be easy and cheap to ship.
What makes silicone such an ideal material for baking is that it’s heat resistant, non stick, and rubber-like. It conforms to whatever shape you like. It also is non-toxic, so don’t worry about your silicone pan coming into contact with your food. They can be used in an over over 650 degrees also! The cookware industry is constantly creating more and more cookware items out of silicone. Pretty soon silicone pans will be the norm.
I’m just crazy about silicone bake-ware and you should be too.
I say go out today and pick yourself up a silicone pan of your own!
